So, the kayak was built around the chair...instead of simply strapping a chair on top of a regular SOT? Because if it's just another SOT with a lawn chair strapped on to it...then I don't see how it's any different. Hopefully this chair is completely removable because the perma-chair system (like the Predator) makes transporting the yak difficult.

Chair comes out, moves fore and aft, up and down, reclines, folds up, and more. Don't know if I'm supposed to say that much yet.

Just like on the current rides the seat does that to position for best front to rear balance. Also when you stand in it you can push the seat back to make more room.
