Just curious...if you aren't gonna have the tub at the actual PIF event...

When do you plan on doing the drawing?

Where will the winner have to pick the tub up from?

How much $$ in taxes will the winner be responsible for??

Jim...was talking with Sarah few weeks ago about when....and the more time the better I'd say... but it's for PIF and I say same day as PIF...I will be at Humboldt fair at the time...was wanting to have someone down there have the tickets so when the time comes to draw the ticket you guys could do it...but that didn't fly...

I'm thinking the owners film the drawing and who ever wins wins....and post the vid on this thread...

Taxs will be on whole sale cost...can't give up that Intel...but it will be minimal. Who ever wins if they don't want to pay the taxs and pick the tub up...than they can PIF the tub... I personally have a lot of time an $$$ into this with nothing to gain but the knowledge that I helped someone......

I got the owner's to cough up half the tub on expected future sales and my half on same....so in future if members purchase a Softub...will still be PIF'ing commission's for PIF to pay for the Softub....but that's what's kewel about PIF it keeps giving!!!!

Note to self...I just bought 3 tix for the Softub raffle.

And to sorta followup on the earlier discussion: the Softub raffle drawing will take place at a date & location TBD. Likely in October when Sledge gets back from work. Because that would give us more time to sell more tix and raise more money...and it wouldn't be the same if Sledge wasn't available to pull the winning ticket out of the hopper!

I am told that a lot of contestants on game shows & such end up not taking their prizes because they cannod afford the taxes on the "Valued At" price of the item; car, vacation, etc...  Same thing happens with Ellen & Oprah give-aways.

Not like I wouldn't have donated to PIF cause I have several times this year and will as long as I have the means. Just think this should've been more thought out from the start.

Yep that's right...not my call...but that's the way it is!!! Nothing I can do about it......

And as far as "thought out more at the start" it is what it is....there was no planning it out!!! I took a thought and made it happen...after its all said and done...kinda wish I hadn't done it... but its for PIF...how can you so no to that!!
