Does anyone have insurance on their kayak and gear? I asked my insurance company and they don't offer it.

When in my garage I have insurance through Mossberg.  Good point though, about when on the road.  We had a revo stolen at my river place, (not mine) but guy says his homeowners was gonna cover.  Not sure how this turned out.  On the road is a good question, anybody have experience with this?

If the kayak was ON your vehicle, wouldn't your car insurance cover it??? Its no different than putting a $2-3K stereo system or set of wheels/tires in a car.

Heck as much stuff I donated to Davey Jones' locker, I should! My yaks are old too,  need to take on water and sink em n get a new one! But, it aint in my character, so I will likewise insure mine on the road and home with Colt, Glock, Winchester, Remmington, Mosberg, Weatherby, Marlin, Olympic Arms, Springfield Armory, Savage, and Red Rider. #I'll shoot your eye out!
