Is everyone going to hang out at the launch area during the event? Not real familiar with Timber Cover, so just wanted to know where to go. Depending on conditions, I may bring my yak....or just just chill and enjoy.

FWIW - iwindsurf.com is calling for steady 10MPH until noon, then it starts to get up into the teens around 1:00PM.

I will see you all at TC. Wife is in Texas, my truck is loaded and Kayak on top. I gotta git in Ocean even if its in the cove. This is where I broke my ocean cherry last year. Conditions were a bit different though......Midwest save me some quiche buddy.

I would like to add a tournament cancellation contingency idea for those who plan to fish.

Would those who plan to fish be allowed in the event of tournament cancellation, to give their raffle ticket to another angler? If so, then I propose a MBF of sorts where those who fish give their raffle tickets to the AOTD as defined by the simply fishing rules.

Well be safe Dad! But we still are fools. Even dressing for getting REAL wet this time. I may try to dive later in the morning depending on what it looks like. Need 2-3 more to fill out my 20. Diving seems to be the easier way to do it, maybe.

Be safe everyone. Was on the napa river tonight and it was going off lightning/downpour-wind and a flash flood warning. Hopefully it has already long pushed through the coast and it will be glassy and beautiful tomorrow but please be safe.

Despite wanting to come no matter what, after a ton of thought and counting dollars, I asked myself what I was in this for and the main thing was to get out and enjoy catching some fish with some new people. With such a weak stomach and newb to the salt Im not sure the enjoyment factor will be too high for me on the water. So its looking like I will not be coming tomorrow. There's no wind and no swell at timber Cove right now. Beautiful night.

Pretty much dead calm in Rosa right now.

My work day went way longer than expected (8pm,) and left me with a truck full of rubbish. With no room for the yak, I am forced to not go and make a super fun run to the dump in the morning.

I am sorry I cant make it. I was looking forward to seeing you guys and fishing with everyone.
