If the conditions worsen and the tournie does get cancelled, can someone post up here tomorrow morning?

I can't compete in the tournament, but if it gets cancelled I can bring my kids out for the raffle!!

Question: If you get a serious snag and cannot pop it off the bottom. Can you use a weighted descending device to aid in de-snagging your jig from the bottom?

I adopted a policy after I think it was the 3rd Albion 2011.

If I wouldn't fish it on a regular day, I won't fish it during a tourney. I've demonstrated that a bunch. 

That forecast is absolutely hideous.

This is what I was saying according to Don's picture. Calm inside when it's coming down from the NW. Even Brenda's dad used to say when we called all time over the last forty years. " looks good in the cove. " then we would get out there to a whole different story.

I am fine with whatever Ruben decides. Laura and I will be at Ocean Cove in the 5th wheel for the weekend, so if I don't get to fish, I still WON!!!! Ruben, you can't make everybody happy all of the time; just do what you want/think is best. Come by OC, look for the "Nemo" flag and stop by for a beer/wine or soda

I know it's asking a lot, but could you give us some indication of what conditions might cause the tourney to be canceled? Rob and I are trying to gauge the probability of fishing this thing tomorrow.

Anybody got an outdoor griddle set up? Large-ish

I have a large griddle that will fit on the 3 burner camp stove I'll be bringing over.  The stove has the option of the griddle or a BBQ grill over 2 of the 3 burners.  I planned on the 3rd burner for the deep fryer you requested earlier.  I will also bring over a weber kettle with briquettes that will be available.

Adam, all I can really offer is that if its unsafe for the majority of anglers I'm gonna call it. If the cove is safely fishable were gonna compete.
