wind sail paddle scout

I have one for sale but it is the large size. They are really fun for downwind sailing and fold into a very small package

Don't people carry a paddle?  Or are they actually going out hoping nothing happens to their pedal drive.

have Hobie paddle. The wind sail is so small its easy to store and good to have in emergency when out on the big pond or just to lay back and enjoy the scenery while covering the lake or ocean

Very limited sailing capacity, tacking looks to be very limited.  If the wind is blowing right, it looks great!

I carry a paddle on my AI with my mirage drive & the full sail rig at all times.  I even carry the daggerboard ... which can double as a paddle in a pinch.

In order to enjoy the sail paddle unit, the wind must be at your back. A full sail would be nice. Does the main mast fold down into multiple pieces or is it one piece Bill?

On an AI, the mast is 2 piece but I would not want to assemble it on the water.  I actually modified mine into a 1-pc mast & install in dockside to the yak.

Will the mast fit in a PA kayak?

Inside the yak, Dont think so.

I've held a big golf umbrella (the kind with wind holes) before.  Moved my Outback pretty nicely downwind (close to full mirage driven speed).  Of course, I had the MD, paddle, and Torqeedo motor on me too.  Google images has plenty of examples.
