Do you guys now what thesis things are used for on a PFD or what do you use them for.

i like to attach a light stick or flashlight to it for night fishing.

I have a serrated knife on mine that has a blunt end on it.  Mainly it was for white water kayaking if I ever had to cut myself loose from a rescue rope.
