Crew grumbles; Delta report deep-sixed; Captain sticks to his story.

Rumors from headquarters are the staff pukes are furious with Captain’s report on Delta bass fishing.  Apparently Captain’s quick turnaround of a project meant as days or weeks of punishment frustrated The Admiralty.  In retaliation, Captain’s report was to be “deep-sixed” so that no one would ever know it was written.

[Crew (aka darn cat) grumbles:  First, The Admiralty requires you to spill Delta fishing “secrets” and second, your report is “inadvertently” buried.  Nothing “admirable” about it!]  Captain chuckles,” Didn’t know you were a conspiracy theory buff, Crew.  I didn’t want to write it in the first place.”

[Yeah, but you put a lot of work and heart into that project.  You intended it to benefit the service; no staff puke should “dis” you that way!]  “Let it go, Crew.   I was concerned about over-exposing the Delta anyway.”
