Anybody wanting to play with generators and solar,  pm me.  One job in Soledad, one job at the house near lake San Antonio.

Need to tie in a backup generator at the office and then pre wire the solar system at home to accept power from this new generator in case the old one dies

the power is cutting off but the breakers are not tripping.its starts with the stove, it starts glitching and you can here tge relays clicking in it.then the master bedroom hall lights and bathrooms start flashing.power goes out I go turn on the stove (electric) and the power comes on for a few minutes before it starts doing it again.the thing thats weird is that its seems like its getting worse.im not looking for a favor will pay you for your time and estimate.but please know what your doing I think it was from friends helping out and dealing with people cutting corners led to this headache

Interesting.

Have you used a meter to see what the voltage is at the breaker to that line (ie. to the stove) when it is acting up?  Could be a breaker, could be one leg of the power coming in is shorting/corrosion causing the voltage to drop on that leg of the power.  Do you know if you are copper wiring or aluminum wiring coming in & out of the breaker box?

I'm not an electrician but I have done more than my share over the years.  Hopefully one of those real electricians can give you a hand & find the issue.

no I have not, it looks like copper wire coming out of the box. I dont mess too much with electricity for the fear of getting electrocuted .I know how to turn the breaker off to change out a socket or switch but thats about as far into it that im at

Could be a couple things.  either The stove has a short in it , drawing gobs of amps and is browning out the lights  or a loose lug on the on the panel feed , corrosion or a broken feed wire.
Is the house older or newer ?

Does anything weird happen to the rest of the house when the stove is not on?

Its either a bad breaker, or a bad pge connection at the roof.  My moneys on that.  I think Chads on his way, he'll fix it.
