Been a Werner owner since the mid 90's. Seeing how they held up to years of abuse in multi day rentals had me sold.

I still have an early 90's Werner 2pc. It lives in the yak hull for emergencies.

Greetings Werner and thanks for making yourself available to the forum.
Another super fan here.
I use the bent shaft 240 CorryV and a 196 Sherpa. My lady friend uses a 230 Camano and both us have been extremely happy with these in hand. Thank you for making paddling more pleasurable!

I was curious if you are seeing a great increase in requests for longer shafts with higher angle blades?   Requests coming from folks fishing/paddling from the elevated chairs that are present in the recent evolution of fishing SOTs ? (Specifically with Jacksons river running "Coosa")
The higher position seems to promote a higher angle and I feel that I need to reach out further to manipulate the boat. It has changed my paddling style and I like it.

Would something like a 250 Side Kick with a bent shaft be possible?
Or more importantly, available?

Thanks again for what you do and Go Hawks.

Welcome and thanks for Joining us!!! See you at the Berryessa Kayak fest!?!?!? http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php

Bring the new angler paddles for us to play with... On the spot critiques...  :smt006
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

Oh yeah! GO HAWKS!

As for the paddle questions - we do offer our Hooked series of paddles up to 260cm* because of the raised seats.
*The only Hooked paddles that don't go up to 260 are the Shuna and Cyprus. They are available up to 250cm though.

Currently a 250cm Side Kick bent shaft is not possible. The longest we can handcraft in a touring high angle blade shape is 230cm.

Weimarian I will check with our Southwest Rep and see if we will be attending that event. I'm not 100%.

I borrowed Hydrospider's KV an fell in love.  I had to get my own 240 bent shaft at that point.

Thanks
Aaron

Very cool. Welcome to the club, glad to have you aboard. I wish more of the kayak-fishing manufacturers/companies would make themselves available to answer questions or provide info.
Oh, and I still use the old Werner that I won in a tourney 6yrs ago.

The only paddle I ever carry with me is a really old Werner Camano. I don't use those cheap Hobie jobs.
