I finally got around cutting the center piece to access inside my Caribbean 14.  Feels sturdy so far compared to my Trident 15, but I need more water testing to see how things go.  Here is a picture of my 8ft rod and big reel inside the yak.

I miss that feature on my 12. Used it often on my OK 13. Don't see how it could be retrofitted on a 12, but I wish it could. Still though, love my Caribbean.
