 Strait up I80 to colfax/174 exit (wingshooter take Canyon way exit (one before) to get to hills flat for your boat) We will take 174 down the canyon and across towards grass vally to Green horn road. Go right till end and have $5-$10 for the Iron ranger. Bring warm cloths and Chicken liver/Cat bait if you plan to hang a little after the sun drops. Night crawlers, yes... Minnows not allowed... Come show me how it's done and catch my 18" crappie!!!!!

I might be game for another trip.

Hey ron looks fun! I havent fished for crappies since I was a kid. Im gonna try to make it out with a buddy. Is it $6.50 per car or kayak? Is crappie jig and bobber best technique out there?

Small jigs with small plastic throw up and let drop. You don't need bobbers at all. I used several different plastic patterns and all worked on the crappie.

Used one crank bait and caught trout, bass, & crappie.
