Zan & I planned to hit Lexington this a.m., but it is closed, I think til the 25th, so they can run a pipe the length of it (got to wonder why), so we looked in the lake book and went to Anderson.
We got on the water about 10, nice cool day, warmed up to maybe 75 later.  We were just checking it out, but I caught a good-sized bass just foolin' around with a couple 1/2 oz egg wieghts and a small gold Kastmaster trolling right on the bottom. Also another much smaller one. Both released.
Surfed some ski boat wakes into the coves.

Thanks for the report!
I would think one could catch a whole mess o bass fishing off a kayak in Anderson. Definitely want to try it soon.

Yes, I am waiting for the fall bite and the lack of ski boats.

Anderson and coyote look fun.

I would like to fish there once the water-skiing crowd has left.
Calero is suppose to be pretty darn good as well.

But, just a question, aren't those fish full of Mercury and so inedible. I have no problem with C&R unless I feel liek takign one or two for dinner.
Its nice to have the option since the Bass there are prolific.

Basser, I'm totally down for some good C&R bass action @ Anderson and Coyote! Marmot, the mercury in most lakes is pretty bad and with those being big boater lakes, who knows what other crap is in there. I figure if you wanna keep some, other places are probably better. Even though the regs say once a month is ok. :smt119

It's cool. I'll do my 'meat' fishing elsewhere. I am still on for C&R LMB fishing. Lemme know.
