The Informative Fisherman just did a episode on Kayak Bass Fishing.

Stoked that we could be apart of this. We are hoping this kind of thing will bring more people into the sport. What do you guys think? Next we hope to get him out to the coast for some rock fishing.

Dan, that was pretty awesome!  Great explanations of kayaks and kayak fishing!  I've never fished bass from a boat before, so standing up is kind of foreign to me.  But that looks like a TON of fun, and hope that I can get out and try one of those setups sometime this summer.  So cool that you got some great plugs in the video too!  I bet you just opened a whole lot of peoples eyes to the idea of kayak fishing.  Way to go!!!

I liked the information that Dan was putting out regarding buying a boat to fit to its intended use. Ditto for not cheaping out on your PFD and paddle.


However I would really, really like to see Nick's head held underwater for as long as he kept that first female out of the water. It was literally a full minute before the cutaway. And he's sitting down after the cutaway when he releases the fish.  So would it be out of line to figure on a good minute and a half?  Oh, and have him do a 30 second sprint prior to soaking, to make the experience all the more authentic.
