Shasta Lake 3/15

I grew up fishing on Shasta Lake.  Being there brought back fond memories of fishing with my dad.  We lived in Lakhead, Ca during the drought of 1977.  Very interesting comparing pics of the lake back then with these taken current day.  The bite was slow, however, I did manage to catch the largest fish of the day.  Pops was smiling from above. 

It was fun and an early start on a tan for the summer.  We may have done better if we drove past the Jones Valley main launch.  I caught one lil dink.

Right on.  That's awesome that you got to reminisce about old times and fishing with your Dad.  WTG.   

Nice Spot, glad you guys made it out and got into some fish, wish we all could of hooked up, next time!!!!
