You camp definitely camp at the state park if you want. But all registered anglers will need to check-in and launch from Edgewater.

you mean I can't launch from some remote location up north with all my friends and bring a fish back to camp? 

So I just got off phone with the Edgewater Resort regarding checking out Sunday. This is the weekend before the 4th of July and they will be expecting guest to start arriving Sunday.

If you are in a cabin and are checking out Sunday you will need to be out of the cabin by noon so they can get them cleaned and ready for their next guests. After clearing your cabin there will be parking available for you I site.

If you are in a camp site and you are checking out Sunday you will need to check out of the site by 1pm. After clearing your site there will be parking on site.

If you have questions please let me know.

I just want to say that making a reservation at this place is a pain. Narisa just called and booked a site. Because we are only staying one night they will not give us a site number in advance. If I am paying for a site I want to know where I am staying.

It seems like nobody really knows what is going on here. 

I thought someone mentioned earlier that anything less than 3 nights gets a reserved site on a first come, first served basis?  No?

Your right, I just read that on the previous page. Still a pain.

I did too.  I guess I "assumed" a fcfs but rather you get a purple spot & can pay to upgrade if a better one is available.  Maybe the purple ones are fcfs?  Who knows!

I got purple reserved already.

I want you to know I am monitoring this thread very closely and am in contact with Edgewater if there is an issue making sure that we are taken care of.

I just got off the phone and she said that she is not guaranteeing a specific site # for a single night stay but you will be guaranteed that you will have a site. You can request a site and if that site is available when you get there you will get it.

I apologize for confusion on this and I am trying to make it as smooth as possible.
