After trying on multiple suits at the freedive shop in sac i chose yazbeck with titanium lining. Love it. Couldnt be happier with service too.  :smt007

Congrats on the suit.

So did you take the ocean class with David already too?

If you are truly a newbie I would strongly suggest diving without the gun until you are comfortable with the techniques you learned.

good advice...I am going to be new  too very soon and in the water very soon...and think I'll go to san carlos in monterey and screw around learning near the jetty before I take the gun along...I for sure will not take the gun the first time out...

Gotta love the yamamoto rubber!!! if they didn't tell you already, try a little hair conditioner/water mix in a spray bottle. spray the titanium side before you slide it on and you'll find it helps!!! also avoids the little titanium tears from your fingers.

I'm taking another noob out sunday if you'd like to join us.  What size shoe do you wear?  I'll bring a set of freedive fins for you.

You should take Josh up on his offer. You won't find a nicer guy or better mentor.

We're meeting at the breakwater in Monterey at 8 to weigh our options.  I have boots and fins in your size.
