Fished Pope creek 3/19, ended up catching a total of 6 spots, 1 large mouth, and 5 small mouth, Water got near 61 by 3pm, saw probably 10 bass on beds and others cruising the shallows. Brown and purple robo worms did the trick. seems to be the right time to be in the foothills.

Last week in pope creek I got 2 largemouth. One on a robo worm and the other on a spinnerbait. Been doing good on the spinnerbait lately on Berryessa.

Didn't fish myself, but cruised Big/Small islands last week in my kayak and there were lots of fish hanging out on beds in the shallows on the west side of the islands. Saw a few anglers working the exposed rocky points off of Oak Shores with some success as well. With the low water, little island is not an island anymore so getting back to Oak Shores required a quick portage.  I love fishing the Pope Creek arm this time of year.  Thanks for the report !
