nice place to camp and launch: Dale's Dive in la Bufadora. lots of quality fish. bring your own yak or rent one form dale. he is super nice and has all the gear you need. also excellent for freediving. water is cold due to upwellings. when i was there we got bonito , barracuda and were just shy of the yelowtail. the other folks got em.

dale also has pangas meaning there are pangueros ready to take you out fishing should you want a mothership or just a panga day. great prices and super nice guys. i usually bring a rod for them to fish as well.

sometimes they will round the point and hit Three sisters rocks where its calicos galore. when i was there i would spear fish and swim them over to the local kids and toss em in their bucket for them to take home.

you can stay in SD and drive down for the day which is what i have done a few times. things to bring:

Mex. Insurance
MEX. Fishing License (available at H/M Landing SD>)
If you bring a yak... get a mex boat permit at H/M

you can also camp and bbq as well as go to the market for food. excellent diving as well.

have fun!!
