Malibu Mini-X is a nice shorter boat - wide and stable.

+1  love my MiniX when I get to take it out;  but might be selling it real soon to scale down on sports equipment....

We have two Mini-X. (Had three at one time.) Great little under 10 ft boat.
Shop around and demo!

No more Wildy 120 UL.
Just saw one for sale on Craigslist today. Appears to be in great shape.

Thank you Brothers for the great input. I will check them all out and keep a look out and try to demo them .I must go shorter to transport it vertically on the back of my little motor home. I broke both my legs and had four surgery's years ago and have made the decision to not load and unload off the roof. 99 percent of the time I am in the the bay classing butts and ling. Thanks Pat I may take you up on that one day.  Thanks again boys  :smt008

I know you can get a good deal on the old-style (pre-2009) Tarpons that are now sold by Perception. Like the Perception Pescador 10...which (I think) is the same mold they used to make the Tarpon 100 from. http://www.montereybaykayaks.com/HostedStore.LassoApp?-ResponseLassoApp=detail.lasso&ID=e9c002d53e218cf82568bc42f1f2b35d&s2op=eq&s2=Kayaks&sop=AND

Ken, did you see these deals on blemished Malibu kayaks? Good deal on a Mini X or Stealth 9 that may fit the bill.
