Need advice on a shorter yak

Malibu Mini-X is a nice shorter boat - wide and stable.

+1  love my MiniX when I get to take it out;  but might be selling it real soon to scale down on sports equipment....

We have two Mini-X. (Had three at one time.) Great little under 10 ft boat.

Thank you Brothers for the great input. I will check them all out and keep a look out and try to demo them .I must go shorter to transport it vertically on the back of my little motor home. I broke both my legs and had four surgery's years ago and have made the decision to not load and unload off the roof. 99 percent of the time I am in the the bay classing butts and ling. Thanks Pat I may take you up on that one day.  Thanks again boys 

I know you can get a good deal on the old-style (pre-2009) Tarpons that are now sold by Perception. Ken, did you see these deals on blemished Malibu kayaks? Good deal on a Mini X or Stealth 9 that may fit the bill.
