BSS4/kayak fest. UKE Jam and workshop

If you are planning to attend KayakFest/BSS4 and you wanna get your UKE on be sure to attend the UKE jamfest on Sat. eve. Just listen for the sweet sound of Ukulele's going off along with some howling, errr singing, and make your way over with your Uke or other musical device.

Note: I don't actually have a campsite yet so we still need a good central location to gig at.
Anybody in the core area game to host this epic musical event or share a campsite?

I'll post some song charts in a couple of days, please post or bring your favs and we will learn them, or try to...

If you want to try out a uke just ask me and you can fiddle around with mine, I'll also bring some other acoustic instruments to play.

I just borrowed my son's uke and got on you-tube to see if I can learn how to play it by then.   Hopefully I'll be ready to jam with you folks.

I'm back online after a trying week of dealing with my daughter's health. She's much better now so I'm back to the BSS Ukefest planning.

I'm stoked we will have a brass section courtesy of napajustin!

Allen, thanks for the offer of the festival area, it will be cool to eat and jam and party among the kayak displays.
I'm gonna try and get there early Sat. and check out where we can gather.

Also, I noticed that Ron-weimarian and Carrie(Golden Voice) will be in attendance! PLEASE Carrie will you be our lead singer!

Attached is a songbook of some tunes I've been trying lately, ancient stuff mostly. If anyone has some tunes they want to post up some music please do so, it would be great to have a variety of songs.

Any ideas are welcome for this jam session, PM me or post them up, I want this to be a fun event with a workshop feel as well. Those new to music or Uking are especially encouraged to get in on the fun. There are plenty of fun songs that don't require virtuoso ability!

I'll be there! Also, I posted some music and such under CrabFest 2015 if we want to practice any of those.
