Ice conditions at Silver and Caples

I will be up certifying blasters at Kirkwood on Wed, was hankerin for a good mess of crawdads. Is there open water around either lake right now, or do I gotta drop traps at Bear River Res? Anyone know?

I think its still frozen... But its been really warm... Call caples or pm me and remind me tomorrow ill call my homie

Silver Lake had a few spots that were thawed before the storms, I imagine it is frozen solid again, Caples was still solidly frozen and I would imagine it still is.  Gate was still closed at Bear River a couple of weeks ago, but you could see where many vehicles have driven around the gate. 

Thanks guys, I will drop traps in another spot. Just want to get them in at ice-out, the traps get LOADED at ice-out.
