Shake off the post Tax Day blues and catch some salmon at Moss. I think DAvid and Joel are in. I need directions to the launch though!

Bill - just map quest to this address. The launch ramp is right next to the Kayak Connection in Moss Landing.

So where is everyone going to be crashing saturday night before the pinos launch?

Brian - if you need a place to stay - you are more than welcome to crash at my place in Half Moon Bay - gimme a call.

Dave sent me a PM looks like he plans on being there at 6:15. So lets all try to get there around that time.

Brian, you can also crash at my place in San Jose if you want.

I called Allen B. to see if he wanted to join us - but he's got a client and will be yak fishing just out of the Santa Cruz Harbor for Halibut.

ok this thread got my brian working over time. are you launching out of pt pinos or moss and what day. I'd lik to join ya if you go out of moss on sunday or monday

We will be launching from Moss tomorrow / Saturday

And if the conditions are good, we will be launching at Point Pinos on Sunday.

Looking forward to the reports (weather & fishing) tomorrow afternoon.  I'm still on the fence, but leaning more towards staying home, due to weather concerns.

Also, a buddy just called and said it was slower today.  Not one of my more reliable sources, but he got it second hand.

When I spoke to Allen B. - he had mentioned that some of the fish are being caught (at moss) where there are no sonar-visible bait fish. His advise was just to watch where the birds are floating around or even to fish the area where there are smaller/scatterd baitfish

Anyway, we will never know unless we venture out
