Don't forget to place your Vessel ID on your Yak and register it!  Otherwise you may have an uncomfortable visit on the water!

Any outriggers/stabilizers? Just wondering about the risk of capsizing.

I saw a PA12 in HMB and he had installed the spring creek outriggers with a counter weight on the opposite side. It was a real clean setup.

That would require me to spend thousands, with this I can remove it anytime if feel like paddling. If I use the motor its literally 4 dollars in gas to last all day.
Just checked with NV and it will cost me $30 a year.

Gonna try it out like it is, the outboard is pretty light, we'll see if i need an outrigger.

If you have a motor on it, you need to register it.  If it is under a certain length, and you are NOT using a motor, you don't need to register.

Yes, you must register all motorized vessels.

According to Wikipedia .... NO, it wouldn't be.  Nor would using an AI with ONLY the sail rig & not a paddle ... by their definition.

"A kayak is a small, relatively narrow, human-powered boat primarily designed to be manually propelled by means of a double bladed paddle."
