Lol. Now that is funny.  I installed the same blue seas systems USB plug on my boat.  $25 & about 30 minutes of work.  My wire is hidden too. Lol

You'll be glad you did.  For that kind of money you can set up your PA your way with everything within your arm reach.  Have you checked out the Hobie forum for PA's?  I have several threads on there detailing how I set up my PA and my trailer.

Cheers!

BTW, instead of a wrap, which is nothing but bling, you might want to look into SeaDek; very grippy!

That's my buddy Steve's boat with the Sea Dek installed.  He has the old PA14 and new PA14 both with that Sea Dek flooring kit installed.  He worked very hard with the manufacturer to get those templates perfect for both models.  If you don't like the cutouts of the graphics he had done they can delete them from the design when you order or for extra cash they can do a custom design for you.  I know Steve had to get permission from Hobie for the "H" logo usage.  Not sure if that would be required for all orders or not.

Had many yaks and fished all over theUS, salt and fresh. Paddeled, peddeled and sailed here in Tx and on the Gulf Coast. Bought a PA abd hauled it to Santa Cruz. Fished the salt with Polepole and Baitman hauled it home and sold the damned heavy beast to a young buck. Too much boat for an old man. Try em all, then get one that you like and don't spend too much, as sure as hell you'll find one soon that you like better. I'm pretty well set now with an old hobie sport and a new Raptor. They fit nearly all my needs. That PA looks like a big money pit, that will bea bear to handle and impossible to maintain. All the pretties won't impress the fish and not many fishermen. Save your money and buy a fishing yak. Art

I am no spring chicken and I have had a 14' PA for almost 5 years now, got one in summer of 09.  Yes it is heavy but you just have to work smarter, not harder.  Instead of lifting it 5' to load it on my post WWll Bantam trailer I will make a loading system to crank it to the top similar to a boat trailer. Even easier would be to build a trailer like Jerry (Skipro) uses for his PA.
Fishing is cheaper than therapy!

Wouldn't be me on the buying end. I'd rather spend the $6K on a new higher-end camera, with enough change for a quadcopter...or...half a year of mortgage payments.  :smt007
