I've heard this can be a good spot. I searched and didn't find any details on launching there. Are there any good spot to park and launch or is it a matter of dragging it over the rocks to launch? Is there an good launch into the lagoon or out into the bay? Thanks

Two places to launch, at north and south beach entrance, I've done both but prefer the north, it's in between the surf spots. If you end up eating it in the channel, your stuck in current and it can be bad.
The buoy is three miles pretty much south, keep away from the reef to the north. Not sure about the closed areas there tho.

one of my favorite places ever... can't wait to take my boat down there and see it from the water.

I've launched the ai from the lagoon, on the incoming and outgoing tides. Incoming is easier as you can monkey around before running out the channel.
Road dead ends, if you are there early there will be parking, and you can wheelez onto the beach.

I like launching from the end of the road. It can be a little tricky at high tide if there's a bit of swell (especially south swell), but it's plenty doable.

Planning on hitting Duxbury later this season for some salmon?

Salmon should be close soon. Wharf road is the end that is more complicated, (currents, surf, surfers). Brighton is the one to use. It's between the channel and the patch. If you need smaller breakers in your face you just walk up closer to the patch. Look at the surf report from the local shop, you can read as many old ones as you want. He's pretty funny sometimes.
