One PROUD Daddy !!!!!

I am one proud daddy tonight!!! My son is a senior in high school and his soccer team just made it to the Championship !!! He plays defense and scored the first goal in the game, a header off a corner kick !!!! They won 2-0 now PV in Chico
On Saturday for the Ship !!!! I guess I won't be fishing Saturday !!!!

Congrats to you and your son Jeff!  Where and when is the game on Saturday?  I have a birthday party to goto on Saturday but if I could squeeze it in, I wouldn't mind checking it out for a bit.

Thanks everyone,  I am still all jacked up! A lot of these boys have been playing together since they were 4 yrs old and a lot on the same teams for traveling ball even with going to different schools. So it was bitter sweet seeing the young men, that just yesterday were 4 years old and like sons to you take losing so hard. It
Was very cool to see them happy for the ones that won, hugs all around, that was their last game together,  and congratulate my son for his goal, he doesn't get many chances!!!  Being a defender.

Congrats to your son Jeff!  A header on a set piece is no easy feat.

I remember my senior season of soccer like it was yesterday.  Picked to finish last in conference and finished 2nd, making it to the quarterfinals by beating the number 1 seed.  Unfortunately we didn't advance further, but it was still magical.

Soccer, only the best sport on earth!
