Things are looking good,  showers and clouds until Friday which looks sunny…  so they say,

  Being out there last Friday would have sucked.  fishing is one thing, but setting everything up etc.. etc.. in a storm.. Good to know we can do it and have,  but clam winds and a little sun works so much better in getting paperworked signed… 

Which, if ya can,  please print up and sign before hand and bring, one less hassle.  I always have more, at the show, just easier in advance…

  All concerned have been notified about the change and are good except for Fish & Game, but they have my request for change in hand and I should have it back from them soon.

Jack: food-what do you need from us? 2 kayaks and gear

Don: 3 kayaks and gear, coffee pot, 2 pants, 2 jackets, booties

Tim: 5 cases of water

pretty sure we won't need the rain gear this time.  I can bring lots of stuff, or almost nothing. 

We have 10 extra kayaks as of now. Plus we have the Adventure Sports boats available. The AS boats have no rod holders for trolling, so if we could get a few more with rod holders that would be good.

I was thinking we still might need some paddle clothing for the folks coming.

Rob or ATD, being it will be off and on showers and rain till Friday,  do you think it will be a mud fest there or is the shoreline pretty intact?

I have told my folks they are gonna get wet so plan accordingly.
They are tough, they can get a little wet. Don't baby em too much.

I went to Negro Bar to check things out 2 Fridays ago, did not actually fish although I had my yak with me.  There is a nice concrete boat launch with a dock and small parking area, is this where all the yaks will be launched? Where is the area where everyone will hang out?

Not there. We will be at the picnic area down the lake a bit. We will post a sign or two in the morning.

The shoreline should be fine for launching in the wet conditions.

Do we need 2 ice chests with ice and soda and the bottled waters Tim is bringing.  Are we going to have a fire?

Good news;

  Fish & Game expedited our change of date request and sent me a PDF of what we need…

I picked up 15 more of the Rapalas we need,  40 size 8 bait hooks, ( it's what Jon @ The Pond said to get ),  and 4 tubs of crawlers, 48 total...

 
Bad News;  My Transmission took a dive this afternoon,  really sucks for me, but it also puts a damper on 4 fishing kayaks I was bringing…

maybe I can fit a few kayaks on a  sub compact rental…. 

  Good news, it's in the dealership $$$$$$  ,  and they might be able to get this done by Thursday which means all is well… 

we'll see fingers crossed ...

Ok Don I just printed out what is basically a big picture with your name and info on it. The one u had emailed me. Will that work for the pass?
