All,

Loch Lomond is closing for the season on the 15th.  I need to hit it a few more times.

Anyone care to join me this weekend?  Haven't decided on the dates yet.

It will be a spectra test trip.

Depending upon how many WAF days I get--I think two, I might do one at LL since Bill is now wanting to do ocean instead of SanLuis. I am thinking ocean one day and LL another. I plan to hit LL Sunday the 10th (early at opening) as well before heading down the coast for a get together where I hope to bring fish  :smt003.

So Mol, I need to test out the Marauder for fishing and Loch Lomond would be perfect before taking it into the Big Blue. How's satuday AM sound at the gate opening--0600 or so. Name your time. Any other takers?

Actually, Sunday works better for me.

I may be hitting the evening bite at Lexington on Saturday.

Saturday morning is all about football for me.

MolBasser,

Did you pretty much give up on Lexington for the year?

No, in fact I think I will be there tomorrow evening.

I need to load up on that crappie school.

Of course, I need to remember when they are closing it.....

Sorry,

I didn't realize you just posted again and mentioned Lexington just before I posted.  I thought the focus of the thread had all been about LL up until then.  I was going to go to Lexington tomarrow but will be going to Monterey since the water looks nice.  I'll be reak interested in your report because I really did like the way those crappie tasted--the ones I got when I was out there and met you.  I'd love to get them the size of your big one on the last trip.  Maybe if its real good I'll try it on Monday.

Doug

The reservoir will be closed to public access starting on September 5, 2006, so that the pipe can be placed in its final alignment.

Must fish lexington this weekend!  I might actually go this evening!

Lex will be closed from only three weeks versus  LL will be closed until April. Crappie good and plentiful versus Bass bite at LL maybe tough. Crappie taste good versus a pain to clean so many small fillets Ocean calm this weekend. Tough decision. Maybe ocean Sat or Sun, LL or Lex Sun or Mon ro maybe Lex or LL Sat or Sun and Ocean Sun or Mon.

Will need to get #2 fluorcarbon for reel though.

Molbasser,
Sunday at Lex or LL could be possible for me. I have a Nephew from Costa Rica here and he wants to get a taste of this Kayak fishing. What have you decided for that day?

Marmite,
Where are you launching in Monterey? If it is easy I would be game. That is if your up for company?

Thanks Frankfishing
