This is how I'm going to mount my transducer.

1st- Get a piece of all thread about a foot long that will fit the id (inner diameter) of your transducer mount. Can be found at almost any hardware store

2nd- Bend one side 90 degrees so your transducer will be parallel with the ground and kayak. Makes sure to bend enough so you can fit the nuts and transducer on.

3rd- Put a nut on the long end of the all tread and put it far enough down with a washer fallowing it. Put it thru the scupper hole and slide your scupper hole plug over the all thread. Some plugs may need to be drilled in the center. Mine did not. Put a washer on and a nut.

4th- adjust it to your liking and put some electrical tape over the threads so your cable don't get cut or anything. Groove a spot in your plug for your cable to fit.

Hope this helps some people.

Thanks that's a great idea
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

That's a great mounting idea! Would yours be mounted permanently or is that something that you'll mount every time you go out? Just be careful when dragging your kayak. Make sure you have clearance or it'll get scratched up

It would be permanent but easy to pull off if you put a wing nut on it.
