Except for that one 30-knot day  :smt003
And these results are for the lake which is a lot windier than the Forebay.

(corrected link--I cut the wrong one, but I did have the San Luis CA one up as well--too much multitasking)

Ummm ... that chart is for  San Luis Pass in Texas!  At least that's what I see when I click on your link.

I pasted the worng one, got San Luis TX first then went to San Luis R CA, but I guess I pasted from the wrong window.
The 30-knot day was last Friday Aug 25th.

I used to fish San Luis Pass in TX a bunch. Really cool spot!

I was thinking of hitting Oneil this weekend but was wondering if the labor day crowd would ruin it???

I'll bet there will be a lot of water skiers this weekend indeed. But they don't come too close to the Madeiros islands and the channel through there up to the bridge so it might be okay. the question is whetehr the wind will stay down.

Cool, I want to test out some of my B@M setups so I am down to go on day this weekend if the wind forecast looks decent.

I'll join you--let me know when you are going. I need to test out my Marauder prior to Bendo as well.

Yeah totally man. I am pretty sure I have at least one freebie this weekend. Ocean love is #1 since I have at least one more weekend for a striper shakedown.

all the sites I look at have the surf the highest (and not that high) on thursday dwindling to puny with low winds saturday and sunday.

it could change between now and then and probably will, but it is looking good for the ocean this weekend.

I would clear the calendars and prepare for WAF deficit, could be the time to go negative,  :smt002.

Hey, if the Big Blue is is going to be on good behavior and it sounds like it will be, then Mr Line-sides can wait. He'll be there waiting for us for sure. I'll be salty this weekend then. I have a WAF pass for two days of fishing and plan to cash it in if possible.
