The seller of the Outback I just picked up included his truckbed rack in the sale.  It's well used and one of the racks is bent from a misunderstanding with a parking garage.   :smt044   It still works fine and I have all the mounting hardware.

To mount, position the bases (one at the head of the bed, one at the feet) and drill into the bed.  The racks then slide in.  Holds one kayak.

Make a donation to HOW and the rack is yours.  Thanks

Sorry to hear of the mishap. A couple of times, I almost made the mistake of entering a garage with too low of clearance for my Hullavator racks. And, for one of those instances, I had to back out, with much difficulty, from a winding entryway to an underground garage.

Oh no no no... this time it wasn't me!  LOL!

I just bought the yak today and with it came the bent rack.  The seller was nice enough to share the story of how it happened.

I shared that I did almost the same thing when I first got my truck... luckily the antenna saved me from a very expensive mistake.  I thought my F150 w/ leveling kit could clear a 6'8" garage with no problem... but nope, I forgot about the bigger tires.  Pure dumb luck saved me that day, much like how I fish.  :smt003
