Hey all,

Looking to buy and install an adjustable rack system to haul around kayaks for my 05 Toyota Tundra. Thule, Yakima, too many choices. The fancy ones seem to be ultra spendy. Basically, I'd like one that can adjust up and down but don't need one of those sliding rail systems(mucho dineros), just two T bars.  I'll buy new or used. Didn't I hear that Ariel sells them in the city? Don't want to spend over 400-500 dollars. I park my truck in the garage so the bars have to be vertically adjustable. Any advice appreciated.

I recommend getting one from Ariel, I don't know the price but he'd be hard to beat. - Amos

Can't find him under the members list. Did he change his handle?

Ariel's shop is Rack Solid.  https://www.racksolid.com/

Pretty sure he splits his time between the SF and Berkeley shops.  Give him a shout.  He put a Whispbar system on Lindsie's Toyota Yaris and it came out super clean.  Actually made her little car look  pretty sporty.  Can not recommend him enough...

This one sits low and only $370. Mounts to stake pockets
