So, after the long awaited decision to stop my ghosting, I finally went ahead and registered today.  I'm an active member of the FishSniffer community and guys like Banker916 and InSearchofFish may be the two who recognize me and my posts.  I paddled out of Whimpy's today and talked to a few members, hauled up to Snodgrass, then to the meadows, then the Locke, then back to the launch all for nada.  I was in a green recreational yak if you saw me.

Anyways a little about myself, my name is Daniel, I live in the North Delta along the main Sac, fish nearly every day whether it's from the bank, kayak or canoe, spend my time attending high school, spending time with my girlfriend, listening to Norwegian black metal, playing drums for a few projects, and cooking with mostly wild game, fish I've killed and foraged produce.  I became heavily involved in fishing from a young age, dropped off of it for a few years then picked it up again when I turned 15 and have been going hard in it for the past two.  Kayaking has become a recent outlet to further this obsession and I dig where the online communities like Fishsniffer and NCKA can take us.  TL;DR, I like to fish.

My Super cool Yak: Sundolphin Aruba 10 Sit In.  No modifications except for the pillow I added to the backrest.

Areas I Hit:  Main Sac when conditions permit, the sloughs and all the usual yak spots in the North D.  Hogback when I'm feeling ballsy and want to deal with boaters.

Favorite Species to Target:  Stripers.  I consider them to be the lingcod of the delta, and the spotted bass and smallies I pick up along the way are like the delta's underappreciated rockfish.

Prefered Method of Attack:  I'm a lure thrower by blood and heart, and will never say no to throwing plugs, but hands down, drifting live bait has become my favorite method as of November with the cold weather.

I'm always looking to get into some fish and make some cool dishes out of or you know, CnR if that's what I'm doing at the time.  I'm not always a meathunter and have my respect for the resource after all.  Anyways, I hope to become a contributing member of the forum and hope to see a few guys out on the water.

One of these days youll have to teach me how to clean a catfish, maybe we can go thin the herd a-bit and have a fish fry on the beach once low tide settles in :smt003 I know of a few other spots where there pretty thick as well.

Sounds like a plan dude.  I'll be out tomorrow if all goes well with my plans.  Gotta ditch these minnows if they last through the night some how.

Hey man.  Anyone get any noteworthy action today?  I tried hard.  I was one of the first guys out and was feeling good, but by 10, it was clear the day wasn't for me.

Wassup bro! Welcome.

Welcome Daniel. Great report. What part of the North Delta do you live. I use to live in Walnut Grove. North Delta is one of my favorite places to explore by kayak.

Welcome Daniel. Sounds like a great case of the madness you've got there.

I recently put a question about spotted bass in the delta; you answered it. Do you catch many spots in the delta?
