10th Annual Perch Derby Santa Cruz (MBSTP)

Damn, would love to make this, but gonna be hard to swing being as it's the weekend after OFB.

We should all meet up and fish together at the beach, then caravan/carpool to the awards lunch. The raffle is one of the highlights of this event. Lots of fishing stuff.

Probably somewhere mid-bay Frank. But it'll depend on the swell size & direction. Let's pick a beach once we get closer to tourney day, and have an accurate marine forecast.

Yep just sent a pm to Pat about that exact same place. Was trying to keep it QUIET! 

The secret spot is Pt Lobos. We'll meet there at 5am ....

I got some really nice kayak decals in the mail last week...really really pretty kayak stickers too...and sure would love to give some of them to you...where will you be around 8-9 a.m derby day...I'll stop by and give you a few...oh and p.m is fine

FWIW ..both of my two days now as a pro perch guide/pro jock
..there were other guys with me or near me with no fish coming in at that moss landing spot...the first day I landed 9...yesterday just one big one...but there were 3 guys yesterday too ,50 feet either way of me when I caught mine ,they also were casting for seaweed mostly...so too many of us on one beach is not a bad thing imho..it's a good thing...my 2 cents
