SUP hybrid (SOLD)

  I have to free up some space on the racks and while this is never easy, this time it really stings.
After taking up fly fishing this year, I am going to be standing more than ever. I would have been spending a lot more time on this plastic.
 This board/boat will also be missed by family and friends. It is ridiculously forgiving and folks have been able to just jump on and go, instead of suffering the twitch of the traditional SUP learning curve.
It is a lot of fun.

Im selling the SPEEDER from Imagine Surf.
This is the first gen with the large front hatch.
11' X 30" X 8"   and is listed at 64#s



The piercing bow helps the board track and rips through wind chop instead of slapping into it.
This is very stabilizing.




I added the general purpose scotty mount and this large hatch is no longer a feature on the new SPEEDERs.


The smaller hatch is set in a place that holds some water when the board is day trip loaded.
It is a functional mini bait tank.


The seat is a welcome addition when on a extended fishing adventure or just want to lounge for awhile.


The SPEEDER has 2 removable skegs.


I purchased the attachable wheel for transport. This was more challenging than paddling the board.


And the paddle.  Imagine calls it the "Rapier".  Its a beast.
Still, its functional. A 4 piece, easy traveler, but it does not allow you to feather the blades.




The board is river worthy if you are.




And can be easily justified as a family purchase. The rub is that you might not get to paddle it as often as you would like. This may lead to purchasing another SUP.


The boat saw some action and has the expected hull scuffing but is structurally sound.

I believe that I spent $800 for the SPEEDER new.
$100+ for the paddle.
No idea about the wheel, but it isn't amazing.

I want $480 for everything.

If you enjoy sight fishing and or fly fishing or if you just want to get stronger, this might be a great platform for you.

Looks like Rider is the big winner and all but the deal is done.
I was pleasantly surprised how fast it went and now the healing can begin.
Fair thee well, worthy plastic.

Super stoked to be getting this. The wife and kid will truly enjoy this
