Some wet stuff falling from the sky! 

Cold and gray out here in Rancho.  Just got a live report that its snowing at 5000 ft in the Sierra.

WU forecast calling for rain/snow over the next 2 days with a break mid-week and then more rain/snow for 4-5 days. 

 
  Bout time! Although I don't think it'll be enough.  Finally the water in my rain harvest tank can be circulated! The rain water entering it is super cold!  (I had to clean the down spout this morning)

It's from http://www.wunderground.com my favorite general weather site.  People actually contribute data from personal weather stations, which you can select from in your general area.  There is a huge difference in temps here in Boulder Creek from Downtown to where I live.  But I found that a very close neighbor has a station I can select, and is near 100% accurate for current conditions.

Its been dumpin' all morning in Santa Rosa. One of the very few times I've woke up in a great mood because it was raining. 

Thank God!  We need it so bad I hope it continues for the next month straight!

Just checked and we are not supposed to get much around here. Dry till 4-5 PM and then just a little after that, according to NOAA.

I also use wunderground.com.  There is a personal weather station across the river from me so I can get great history

It was snowing at UVR at 9am this morning.

Snowing hard coming over Donner Pass. Was prepared to resort to cannibalism.

I plan on fishing in the rain soon! Also, tired of seeing dehydrated shrooms.
