Current forecasts for this weekend are looking GREAT to me on WUnderground.com for Los Banos, CA.  Rain Friday, who cares!??!  We will have plenty of shelter to gather under.  There is even plenty of space underneath trees for setting up tents out of the weather too.

Saturday only showing 20% chance, and Sunday shows clear!  Don't believe what your reading on a weather report until it's that day, because all the predictions are WAY off due to the dry weather we have been having.  So DONT BE A QUITTER!  Come down and chill with us at the Forebay.

Check out our first Fish-N-Chill at the Forebay, which had very SIMILAR weather conditions foretasted, but NEVER materialized:

We are going to have a great time!  :smt002

No Ablah Misster....

People come on this is going to be fun. You should have been with us at Del Valle a couple years ago. Now that was epic with wind gust reaching near 70 mph. Been fishing in worst weather then what's been posted.

Just picked up all my gear to mount on the pontoon boat.  I've got a weeks work of rigging to do in just a couple short evenings & one LOOOOOOONG Saturday.  All for a couple hours of demonstration on Sunday.  Oh the goodies I have to play with for a while though!!!!   :smt007

Would't it be an overkill to have Radar on a kayak? :smt003

If I can get things done in time, I'll drive to drive over the hill to chill for a couple beers on Saturday night.

I plan on being there Friday thru Sunday. Are we going to have a problem with the kayak inspection if it's raining? Just a thought  :smt012

So long as the inside of your yak is dry, and they can reach inside and verify, we should be just fine.  If you transport your kayak upside down, shouldn't get wet on the ride over even if it's raining.  I just checked my Outback and it was pretty much bone dry on the inside, from sitting in the garage for almost a whole year  :smt005  So thats what i'm bringing!

I typically don't camp in the rain but I don't want the Ahulls thinking I'm weak.  I'll be there Friday afternoon.
