Hey guys - hope all is well.  WU forecasting rain for wed-fri for hook-up, with 11-12 mph wind on event day.

This changes things a bit, but I think were all happy to some dancing in a decent storm,  what I have been looking at does look significant…  going to be an adventure….

If ya think our rods are good then great,  I think were trying to get those up to Sac before hand for rigging, let ya know how that's going …

yes on all the above there Rider,  how many tables/easy ups do you have? and we will need to tie these down, weights, local rocks and rope, I have lots of rope…

  Hopefully we get somewhat of a break on the wind,  but as a past U.S. General once said,  " You don't get the gear/event day you wish for, you get the event day your given…"

I guess it's also time to think about bringing extra storming paddle clothing…

I have…

1 L Kokata tempest pants

1 Xl paddle pant

2 or 3 paddle jackets L and XL

booties,  I think about 1/2 dozen or more, size 10 1/2 to 13…

Hats,  lots of hats...

i have an extra set of L tempest pants and a L paddle top.  might need to unplug the seat scuppers for this one.

I wonder if Adventure sports has some rental paddling clothing that they would be willing to lend the veterans for the event. Rob, whatcha think?

I have two extra pants, two extra shoes, two extra almost everyting.  But, there are for smallish dudes. 

Might want to think about gloves too - I've got 2-3 pairs of those lightweight neoprene-type gloves we got at Albion floating around in my gear stash.

good point on the gloves… I think I have about a 1/2 dozen pairs…

With this thing going on with my back ,I`m planning on showing up but cant see getting in a yak , am more than willing to be part of the Beach Detachment..I have a pop up canopy I can bring....I`m sure I`ve some extra rain gear stored away. 

pop up canopies are going to be needed, of course we'll keep watching this front,  maybe not as intense as their saying.  If it is raining hard, were going to need every bit of cover we can get.  But please do not sacrifice your back…  We can also hang tarps… I have a couple HUGE Camo Tarps that would be effective… it would look Damn kool too...

Good News,

The Sacramento Park that does not bend on anything,  just gave us Free entry to the park for parking.  That will save us about $300 +/- as a group and Carl from Adventure Sports paid the permit fee so we just got approximately $500 +/- donated to us to throw this gig…

  You will need to have this pass ( attached ) on the dash of your car and they will be there ticketing if you do not…  Black and white is fine and see me at the show if you don't have one. I'll have plenty of extras

I just watched the news, the weather guesser is saying 68 and sunny for Friday........

  I hope your right sir,  I really do,   Hate to say I called it,   But It looks like rain,   and possibly a good amount…  Hoo Rah!!!
