Team Something will be there.  I'll get after the boys to get the checks in the mail.  This time I will actually stick around to fish and eat ;-).

Great question, Doug.

The CPR bonus has gone back to the old method, and it only applies to the overall scoring.  (19" rockfish released and properly documented = 19 bonus points if you did not retain any larger rockfish).  While CPR of a lingcod will not add anything in terms of the "biggest lingcod" component of the tournament, I will accept clear CPR evidence toward "biggest lingcod".  In other words, if you catch and release a, say, 35 inch lingcod and clearly document it with a photo on a trough including the required element TBA Friday evening, May 16th, you will score 35 bonus points toward your overall score, but your lingcod is still a 35" entry toward "biggest lingcod".

Not using a scale, so "biggest lingcod" = longest lingcod (mouth closed, NOT gutted and gilled).

Also, in the interest of spreading the love, the top score/grand prize winner cannot also win the "biggest lingcod" prize.

I'm assuming a speared Lingocd would not count toward the "biggest lingcod" prize?

Or maybe it would??!??

it's time for me to look for sponsor and the hardest part to quietly move my little princess birthday party to Saturday or to next weekend.

Wow Eric!,

I can't thank you enough for all you put into GS.  Last year was my first and I have not stopped thinking about the Cove since.  Drove the 7 hour drive back up there 2 more times last year and still couldn't get enough.

Can't wait!
