I doubt they will close it completely, there would still be sections open. They raise some good points but after reading the article, I don't think the writer has all the facts.

The water dropping will effect what little salmon beds are there before we get to trample them, but when it's easy to recognize a bed it easier to avoid as well. Another thing is that most of the migrating steel in the river now have jammed up top. Haven't seen many holding and not one nest yet, even though it will be super low, as long as it's consistent or gets better, the steelhead will manage or just go somewhere else.

I'd be down for that, maybe go farther. It there's definitely some spots I'd like to hit hard up high.

Anyone have roe? I didn't keep any salmon this year and feel lost without it.
