Clear Lake Cats

Anyone have any advice for fishing for Clear Lake kittys? Going to give it a try next week sometime.

If the water is clear go here. You will need to see down 6-8 feet. and have glass calm.

There are old truck tires sunken there.  take some crawlers and drop them right in the middle of the tires.
When the 15-20 lb Cats suck up the worms, hang on.

There are quite a few being caught right now.  Had some friends jigging spoons for bass at shag rock and picked up some cats.  Some guides were also catching at the same spot with jumbo minnows.  I was out bass fishing a few days ago and went around the corner at shag and it looked like somebody was standing on the rocks fishing.  Turned out they were standing on their kayak.  Bass bite was slow for us.

Awesome guys thanks  I can only find two launches nearby, Library Park and Braitos Marina. Am I missing some?
