Talk of Halibut at Berkeley Pier

Halibut heating up at Berkeley Pier!

A 32" caught yesterday by Jason Chin and a 30" caught by Phong, both excellent fisherman on the PFIC.com site. Both caught using live smelt (6") on a floating BP halibut rig.

It's the mommas that come in first (bigger, fatter) w/ the poppas coming in a bit later.

So get ready to saddle up boys and show those PFiCers how we roll!

Cool... it's good to hear that more guys are catching butts in the bay.  I'll probably try the Alameda Rockwall this week after throwing my net for jacksmelt.
