Yeah I figured it was my sig. Don't worry I'll be taking it down and removing all of my articles from the site soon and yes they are copyrighted. I think corporate logos should be banned too from the signature. If company's want to advertise buy it.

In general we try not to tell general membership what to not post, unless it is offensive or clearly commercial in nature.  The signature changes are more due to look and feel issues and not really about specific content.

I saw that video last night on mine and was going to take it off today, but you fixed that anyway.

I was not just your signature Scott, there were a lot that took up an enormous amount of space when reading posts.
At some point things need to be tidied up to maintain a pleasurable viewing experience.
There are a lot of contributors in NCKA who put out a lot of great info on this site. Everything here applies to them as well.
If the search function is an issue, may I suggest adding tags to the end of the article to make it easier to find?
And if your concern is that they are hard to find, removing them will make them impossible to find.
How can anyone benefit from that?
I do not see the rationale there.

Stand tall Scott. The people that matter on NCKA appreciate those articles & understand the pride that comes with writing & sharing them.
You people that complained......how about spending your time fishing or writing your own articles if you have some knowledge to share?

I think there is a misunderstanding here.  No one is complaining about the content of the articles.  It's great stuff.  Again, it's a look and feel issue regarding signatures that may be overly long and distracting from the flow of thread viewing.

BTW, none of this is specific to singling out any one person.  For instance, this thread came up in the context of images.  In the past, we've asked people to reduce full size images in signatures.  I'm sure we can all agree that those are distracting.

I don't see any issues with Scott's signature on Tapatalk on my cell phone. Am I missing something here? That being said, I rarely use Tapatalk.

No worries guys, as long as I don't win anymore tourneys, I shouldn't slow your your scroll time.  :smt005 I need a better venue for my articles so sorry to pull most of them.

Tapatalk doesn't display signatures.  Yet another reason I don't like tapatalk ... we have relatively little control over the look and feel of that display.

Easy solution - be mediocre like myself.  You won't have any accomplishments to brag about in your signature such as tournament wins.  Furthermore, nobody will want to sponsor you.  :smt044  :smt002

I'm glad that you agree Scott's articles were great stuff. I guess the emphasis now is on the 'were' since as a result of this thread they're gone.

It was stated that Scott's sig was one of those that had been complained about. BUT......
The signature was long cause all of the articles, except the c-bass one, were completely buried & Scott was trying to make them accessible.

I don't know why Scott's articles were not added to the other articles which are on the left hand side of every page?
I don't know why the two short articles I've written, regarding safety & AOTY, couldn't also be added in with these existing articles?
I've got some more ideas about new articles & I like to write but why bother if they're just going to get buried deep in obscurity?
What are the exact standards for which articles are to be added to the existing ones? Thanks, jim

I second that approved articles get added to the list on left side of screen. Seems to be a lot of room there.
