Mizuumi Seafood Buffet Union City "East Bay Kayaker report"

Well I read the reviews and was surprised at the low rating this place got. But then I looked at who was posting and found a lot of the reviews from people much younger and not happy with the service. Buffet and service? So Diana and I went to lunch there today and were very surprised.
Most of the patronage was Asian which is a big plus in my book.
Had the sushi and was glad I did. Very tasty and I thought fresh. The steamed flounder was also very good with a very nice blend of sauce and fresh green onions.Salmon also very tasty even had seconds. Theirs a soup bar, Korean style and also prepared soup which I did not have. All looked fresh.
Clams, Mussels, Shrimp all flavorful. A nice variety of dessert.
Thinking might be a great place to have an East Bay Yakers after holiday get together. Anyone up for this? Would put reservations in if any interest generated.

assuming I survive the belly bloater challenge tonight, i'd consider going over to the EBay and joining you there!
