Weather is looking to be a bit warmer this weekend, forecasted at 63, not bad considering how cold its been lately.

Going to be my first time fishing the port of sac...finally! Its been long overdue.  Looking to find my DD striper this Sunday!   Company is welcome.

my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

Tim,

I'm thinking around 8.  Planning to go after a new personal record and need to get some time under the docks.  The only live bait i'm bringing will be redworms.  :smt002  I'll PM you later in the week.

Sorry for threadjack.

I'm not much of a bait person so I will be tossing lures and trolling my magic rig ...hasn't let me down yet!   :smt003

Will most likely have some worms though...do crappie like worms by any chance or should I use something else?  Would love to catch my first crappie!

The crappie like minnows from my experience.  I caught some on the small and medium size minnows before.  I'm brining the redworms to catch my striper bait.  (wink, wink)

i've done so well trolling hard plastic out there near the shoreline. You can also troll around a bigger hammer swim bait when they are deeper in 30 feet of water  :smt001
