Sac Area Holiday Feast! - What a time it was!

Lol, I responded to an earlier post.

Yeah that was pricey for fish. Not to mention, uh, we all are pretty good fisherman who most likely don't spend that much on fish all year.

I prefer Italian with a better price. But I'm a cheap Italian so what can I say?

OK, Just got off the phone with the Old Spaghetti Factory on J st. in Midtown, Sac. (Rancho Cordova was booked for the 13th)

They said that depending on how many entrees we decide on that the price will easily be around $25/person.
I think this price is reasonable, and I've eaten at OSF about 15 times and like their food.

I've tentatively reserved a space for 50 people at the same date and time.

We will need to choose 4-5 entree items, and will need a count of who will want what entree - I guess like a wedding where you check whether you want the chicken or the beef...
The exact Entree count will need to be sent to them 3 days before the dinner.

So, just need to OK from you all to book this one.
Otherwise it's Pizza, Sizzler, or Mizu, which again, I am fine with.

Just did the math 40 people at 40.00 each add 21% gratuity plus tax+ $1730.48 That is without Booze... $43.26 each! To rich for my blood... Sorry guys that is to much for me... With wife in tow $86.52 Anyone else want to run with this? They still have not emailed me back yet but the reservation is for Ron, NCKA and I believe there is a deposit involved

but Only a week left & busy holiday season, so I think we should just do it at Mizu like always.
They have enough room that I believe we don't need a reservation and we only need to pay for how many people show. I don't want someone to put money down & some people end up not showing up...
I have heard stuff about Mizu but never had any problems, except eating too much (knock on wood).
If you're worry getting sick, stick to hot dish only..?

I'm ok with that Naoaki, but neither Berta or myself really like Mizu. I would much rather eat Italian, or just about anything else? Personally, I think $20 is too much for Mizu when all I eat is the fried food. We only spend $20 for both of us for that type of food usually. I just go there to see everyone. I welcome the change of venue. I will be there no matter where we end up. $20 ea, or $50 ea.
