I too like the idea of Red Hawk, but can do OPF if that's the final choice.  I would just rather a buffet for some reason...perhaps its because this is the one time each year that I go to a buffet?  And then I'm not married to a dinner choice...

So on the Red Hawk thing... Some people can't go near a casino anymore due to a gambling problem :smt006 + it's to far to drive for me... Old spag fact seemed like a decent choice. now it's just a bit of a hassle... let's nail it down... can anyone add a pole to this thread? I plan on OSF...
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

That's funny Ron. Bucca de peppo is actually 2 miles further for you than Red Hawk. Gotta love Google Maps.  :smt044
And I guess some people cannot go to restaurants because of the whole alcohol thing.

OSF is good, or just pick a good pizza place with a big room we can use to hang and chill.

OK OSF it is, just to shake up the system a bit and infuse some diversity, we'll go with Italian food :smt003

Casino buffets, while great for some, may not be too cool for somebody that doesn't want to breathe cig smoke as they eat next to an elderly person with an oxygen tank. Just sayin:smt002
Plus I doubt we will be able to be seated together, much less in close proximity.

OSF has requested that we choose 4-5 entrees for diners to pick from.
The menu below is what I came up with.

In addition we are also asked to stick with one salad dressing and one ice cream choice. ( I will ask if we can fudge on this one )
If you are all good with the choices I'll secure the reservation.

Also, it looks like 50 people could be a stretch, so pls. chime in if you are planning to attend.

Thx,
Tony novofish

Additionally, if only say 25+- peeps want to show I could just reserve a large table and everybody could fend for themselves with the menu choices.
Of course there is always a Pizza joint as an option - got any suggestions for a a place that could accommodate 25+?

OSF sounds good! I'll have Spaghetti with Meatballs.

got any suggestions for a a place that could accommodate 25+?

A popular place to meet up when I used to work at Sutter was the Chevy's By The River. They have an upstairs room for parties and such.

For a Pizza place that can handle 25+, I only know of Chucke E Cheese's (or John's incredible Pizza)!  :smt044

If someone would host it we could have Chevys cater it for like 15 a person. I wish my place was big enough.
