So here's the deal.
I was at Anderson Valley Brewery Saturday where they had a Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrel Stout. Needless to say, to me, it was a taste of heaven. So I came home with a growler.
Sixty seven point three ounces full.
I pulled out two 16 oz. glasses and poured them full. One for me, the other for Becky
Mighty tasty.
If two tasted good, Four ought to taste twice as good.. So I poured two more 16 oz. glasses.
Now by MY math that's 64 oz. of beer poured. The growler should only have 3.3 oz. left.
I just poured ANOTHER 16 oz. glassful for just me and I STILL have a little left. And yea, the Beckster is out like a light.
Not that I'm complainin' Lucy, but even in my diminished state I'm a bit confused.
So I broke out the measuring cup. I filled a 16 oz. beer glass full of water then poured that into the measuring cup.
Came out it was only a 14 oz pour!
So unless the beer glass filled to the brim, like seeping over the sides, it isn't a 16 oz. pour.
So I just filled my fifth glass. Assuming all five glasses were a 14 oz. pour, how the hell is it that I STILL have a little beer left in the growler??
So I did a reverse pour. Filed the growler with water. Gotta clean it out anyway right? Then poured the water into the measuring beaker.
It came right out at 67.3 oz.
So the next time you go out to your favorite watering hole and order a 16 oz. beer,  you might want to take a measuring beaker with you so you don't get ripped off.
I'm just sayin'.
And yea, I had to auto correct the hell out of this post.
Here's to a good nights sleep. Cheers!

I am not prepared at the moment to take up the complex math challenge you posted, it will take me four more shots and 3.25 glasses of beer.... Oh crap are my glasses 14 or 16!?!?!? CURSE YOU!!!! :smt044
Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

Oh shit that was funny. They didn't have all these interesting beers when I quit. I'll never know. G'night Totaro. Call us in the am.
