Maybe we should do two trips? A short one for those that have not done one yet and a longer for those that have and already know it's not long enough   :smt044

It is a thought.  Let's see how the voting goes.  I plan on getting on the phone with them this afternoon, so vote up now.

Again, please vote only if you are serious about going.  The results of the poll will determine what we try to book.

Oh ... cost was $515 last year for the 2.5 day trip.  It should be about the same, or maybe slightly more, this year.  I'd expect the longer trip to be more than double that (run farther = more gas), maybe even 3X that.  Would you still go on a 5 day trip if it was $1500?

I would like a 3 or 4 day'er at the Islands. No need to make a longer run to anywhere else. I want at least three full days of fishing...preferably four.!

But I'm going no matter what it ends up being.  :smt006

How come I knew you were going to say that?  Let me switch up the poll a little to reflect possible options.

OK, I split the longer option into 2 price ranges, ~$1000 and ~$1500 with the cheaper one being a trip to the Island and the more expensive one being longer range.  I'm not even sure these are options at this point, so take these as only possibilities at this point.

Those of you who voted for the longer trip before are in the cheaper option now.  You can change your vote if you'd like.

If I was to go I would prefer a longer short range trip. More fishing, less driving. Did not vote since I have no idea right now if I could go.

I was asked to add a 3.5 day option (3 days of fishing).

I reset the poll and  updated it with more info.

We're tentatively penciled in for a 2.5 day trip June 6-9.  They are checking if it can be extended by a day and what that would cost.  I just estimated ~$750 for now.

There is talk of a 5 day Cedros trip, dates TBD.  They've tried that in the past, but it always gets cancelled.  Then the guys that signed up for it get screwed because the shorter trips are all filled.  I don't think we want to go down that road unless we know we can book it.

Please vote for the longest trip you are interested in doing.  I'll assume that if you vote for the 5 day trip, that you'd be cool with the shorter options if the 5 day trip doesn't fly.   Or if you vote for the 3.5 day, that you'd be cool with the 2.5 day if the 3.5 day doesn't fly.

If you go to Cedros, you will get into lots of yellowtail.
